Properties of Honey

Honey contains sugars, various minerals, phenolic compounds and antioxidant components that make this food a unique combination. The antioxidant components in honey scavenge free radicals and prevent related diseases.

Honey has a positive effect on regulating blood pressure, and its antioxidant compounds reduce the oxidative disorders associated with bad cholesterol.

Phenolic compounds in honey have anti-cancer properties. Also, the antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of honey improve stomach problems. In addition, the unique combination of sugars in honey makes it an ideal food for weight loss. Replacing honey with artificial sugars and consuming it daily and continuously can eliminate the strong desire to consume sugar in the brain! 

And that is why, instead of white sugar, we use honey in our Barniki nut bars. We also put the effort and energy to process the honey at a low temperature and in a short period of time to keep all its goodness intact.
